Massage Therapist Needed – TruRelief Wellness Massage & Acupuncture – Calgary, AB

Job Opportunity: TruRelief Wellness Massage & Acupuncture is looking to hire Registered Massage Therapists to join their dynamic and client-focused practice in Calgary, new location! TruRelief is growing their business and offer massage, acupuncture and top-notch health care services in their new clinic (Shawnessy station) opening November 2023. Candidates should be professional, enthusiastic, skilled and compassionate and committed to improving the overall well-being of clients. Therapists can expect a team of professionals who will work collaboratively to ensure the highest level of care and customer satisfaction.

This is a contract position, part-time hours (10 – 35 per week), Monday – Friday, some weekends. Candidates can expect $45 – $70 per hour dependent on skill level + gratuities and free on-site parking. Flexible hours with some on-call opportunities available. Responsibilities:

• Provide professional and therapeutic treatments to clients by performing different techniques
• Assess client-specific needs and customize massage sessions accordingly
• Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction
• Ensure a clean and organized workspace
• Comply with all clinic policies and procedures
• Stay current on industry trends and continuously expand your knowledge and skills

Requirements:

• Completion of the 2200-hour Massage Therapy program
• Valid license or certification as a Massage Therapist within Alberta or Canada
• City of Calgary Massage License & professional liability insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + time management skills
• Professionalism and strong commitment to ethical practices
