The successful candidate will assist residents with:
- bathing, grooming, dressing
- medication administration and reminders
- housekeeping and observing living conditions
- meal service and aide
Skills:
- Flexible and dependable
- Sensitive to the physical, social, spiritual and psychological effects of aging
- Experience in housekeeping, and / or meal service
- Experience in working with seniors is preferred
- Prior experience as a caregiver would be an asset
Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma is preferred
- Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized educational institution is required
- Enrolment in the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
