The successful candidate will assist residents with:

• bathing, grooming, dressing
• medication administration and reminders
• housekeeping and observing living conditions
• meal service and aide

 Skills:

• Flexible and dependable
• Sensitive to the physical, social, spiritual and psychological effects of aging
• Experience in housekeeping, and / or meal service
• Experience in working with seniors is preferred
• Prior experience as a caregiver would be an asset

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma is preferred
• Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized educational institution is required
• Enrolment in the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
