About the Massage Therapy Program
Our two-year massage therapy certification program offers the highest level of massage therapy training in Alberta. MaKami massage therapy school graduates enter the field with the knowledge and expertise to confidently pursue their professional massage therapy careers.
Learn to apply the principles of physical, health sciences, and social sciences as they relate to massage therapy in the classroom, simulated clinical environments, and clinical placements in the community or our on-campus massage clinics. The advanced clinical massage therapy certification allows graduates the ability to issue health insurance claim receipts upon graduation and licensing.
Receive Additional Certifications
In addition to a variety of transferrable skills such as anatomy and physiology, business and employment preparation and more, you’ll also earn a certification in first aid during in-person training in addition to your massage therapy classes.

When Does the Next Semester Start?

What are the Application Requirements for an International Student?
To apply for our massage therapy program as an International Student, you must be 17 years of age or older, you must provide international educational documentation for review, and you must obtain and provide evidence of a study permit, among other requirements. How Do I Cancel My Application?
Requests for withdrawals and refunds must be in writing. Please refer to Alberta Student Enrollment Contracts attached to your orientation package for detailed information and cost calculation on refunds.
