La Palma Spa Hiring Contract Registered Massage Therapists

JOB POSTING: La Palma Spa is looking to hire a Registered Massage Therapist for their beautiful spa, where art and wellness collide. La Palma is a spa that offers the best in quality massages, one that Calgarians will want to frequent, and never leave. The opening of the first boutique spa is near (summer 2021) and you can join the team on the journey and grow together.
What you’ll do:
- Provide therapeutic massage through a variety of modalities (Prenatal, Sports, Stretching Techniques, etc.)
- Maintain service room to standards. All supplies are provided
- Full and part-time positions available
- Will consider qualified candidates beginning their careers in massage therapy that fulfill qualifications
What You Bring:
- You must have a minimum of 2200 hours, hold a full association membership, and have a city license
- Must be licensed/certified to provide massage services
- Must present a certificate during the interview process and maintain it throughout employment if hired
- Must have their own liability insurance
- Knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage
- Knowledge of other modalities (Cupping, Hot Stones etc.) an asset
- Understand and believe in the benefits of massage therapy
- Excellent guest service skills
- Dedicated professional that is motivated and has a great, positive attitude

Compensation:
- Contractor based
- Percentage to be discussed during interview and based on experience
- Commission paid on retail sales
