JOB POSTING: Flexcare maasage clinic, located in Edmonton, Alberta, is hiring a full-time or part-time massage therapist to join their clinic.

We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and professional Massage Therapist to join our new massage clinic. The ideal candidate is passionate about promoting health, wellness, and overall well-being through therapeutic massage.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional massage therapy and/or manual osteopathic treatments tailored to individual client needs.
• Assess client conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed treatment records for each client.
• Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness strategies.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients at all times.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and provide appropriate guidance.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation procedures.
• Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education requirements.

Requirements

• Valid certification or licensure as a Registered Massage Therapist
• 2200+ Hours Program, 2nd year Massage Therapy Students welcome
• Proven experience as a Massage Therapist
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Prior experience in a clinical or wellness setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a caring attitude at all times.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to licensing standards.
