Duties

• Perform professional massage therapy treatments tailored to each client’s needs, utilizing techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, or sports massage.
• Assess clients’ health history and discuss their wellness goals to develop customized treatment plans.
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress updates.
• Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to support ongoing health.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment in compliance with health regulations and clinic standards.
• Communicate clearly with clients about procedures, benefits, and any contraindications or concerns.
• Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills.

Experience

• Proven experience as a licensed Registered Massage Therapist with a valid certification or license in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to health conditions and treatments.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect compassionately with diverse clients.
• Superior communication skills to effectively explain treatment plans and address client questions or concerns.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with various client needs, including injury recovery, stress relief, or chronic pain management.
• Familiarity with health regulations and hygiene standards essential for safe practice.
