Job description:
The RMT will fill large shoes and large existing clientele. As an RMT, you will play a crucial role in delivering high quality massage therapy to clients, addressing their specific needs and promoting overall health and relaxation.
Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct thorough client assessments to identify individual health concerns and treatment goals
-Create a healthy and open rapport with patients using excellent verbal skills, showing compassion
-Administer a variety of massage techniques
-Develop a personalized treatment plan based on clients’ assessments and health concerns
-Maintain accurate and up to date client records and progress notes
-Collaborate with other health care professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
-Be able to market yourself on social media and other avenues to gain clients
Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Massage Therapy Program and registration as a Registered Massage Therapist in Calgary
- Certification for Craniosacral Therapy required
– Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and various massage therapy techniques
– Strong massage therapy skills and techniques to provide effective and therapeutic treatments
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and new potential clients
– Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on the latest advancements
– Time management and organizational skills
