Meet MaKami Max, the college mascot!

A loveable, cuddly, giant bear, MaKami Max was designed by Michelle Bullock and he makes appearances at both the Edmonton and Calgary campus, and at student events and field trips.

Loved by both students and staff, MaKami Max is here to help and encourage students to reach their “Max”imum potential! He is a big foodie and his favourite food is a classic smoked salmon and parmesan asparagus (but he’ll eat anything!). He loves to spend his time entertaining kids and making people smile.

When he’s not at MaKami events, he likes to let loose by going bowling every Saturday night. Watch for him at both campuses and give him a hug when you see him!
