Week 1 Challenge – MaKami College’s Spring into Fitness

Spring into Fitness Week 1

MaKami College’s Spring into Fitness Challenge is back! It’s time to dust off that workout gear and get moving!

All students and staff from all campuses are invited to join this 4-week challenge to get your blood pumping and those endorphins kicking in! Don’t worry, we’ve made all our exercises easy and accessible from anywhere, with high impact and low impact options so everyone can safely join in. The point is just to get moving and to feel good!

This year’s Spring into Fitness will start on April 4, with a new challenge being announced each Monday on Facebook and Instagram.  For those who aren’t on social media, the challenge will also be sent out weekly via email.

Prizes will include great gift cards for places like the MaKami Store, the Running Room and Freshii.

How to Win:

Participate in each week’s challenge and send us your results via email or social media. A winner will be announced every Friday at 4pm.

Week 1

We’re going to start off this challenge with 10 minutes of full body exercises.

  • 15 squats (low impact: in chair)
  • 10 lying leg raises (low impact: bent knee)
  • 5 push ups (low impact: from knees)

How to win:

Do as many rounds as possible in the 10 minutes. Record your number and send it to us to be entered to win a $50 Freshii gift card!
