MaKami College is raising funds for the Orange Shirt Society by selling orange shirts in recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Support Orange Shirt Day by helping raise funds for the Orange Shirt Society!

Orange Shirt Day is in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, which will be on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

This annual event is part of an effort to promote awareness and education of the residential school system and the impact it has had on Indigenous communities.

You can show your support by purchasing shirts at MaKami’s school store. Adult shirts are available for $20 and kids’ shirts are $15.

All proceeds will go to the Orange Shirt Society, a non-profit organization focused on sharing the inter-generational impacts of Indian Residential Schools.

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that the campus will be closed on Wednesday, September 30 in honour of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
