Massage Therapists Needed – Less Stress for Body, Mind & Soul – Royal Vista, Calgary

JOB POSTING: Less Stress for Body, Mind & Soul is looking to hire Registered Massage Therapists for their locally woman-owned holistic business in Royal Vista, Calgary. They believe in alternative care and provide a space with a wide range of multidisciplinary wellness services. Less Stress offers a zen-like retreat for the senses including gemstone therapy, massage, aromatherapy, acupuncture, sound and tuning fork therapy. They are seeking candidates who have a passion and drive for alternative healthcare, previous experience and ideally an existing client base.

Therapists must have a minimum of 2200-hours (or equivalent), registered and in good standing with an approved association. If you are a current massage therapy student and are looking for practicum hours or are ready to start building your business – they will accept student applicants from those who have completed their first year (if they have a student membership with an approved association).

What to expect:

• Minimum 3 shifts per week (to be discussed if still a student)
• Compensation is a percentage of the cost of services you provide. The cost of your services and your earnings will be discussed during interview
• Larger than normal treatment rooms, all with heated table warmers, guest seating, clothes hooks and auxiliary clocks to play music
• Most rooms equipped with a hydraulic table and adjustable practitioner stool
• Direct billing for insurance
• Online booking, on-site laundry
• All supplies provided (linens, towels, oils, warmers)
• Warm inviting colours, local art and retail options from other local small businesses
• Offer a large multi purpose waiting area that doubles as classroom space
• Access to a rooftop patio and a larger raw classroom space within the building
• Plenty of FREE onsite and street parking available
