Massage Therapists Needed – Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa – Calgary, AB

JOB POSTING: Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa is seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to join their wellness team at their Calgary – South Trail Crossing location.

The ideal candidate will provide professional massage therapy services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on health and customer satisfaction.

The Massage Therapist will be responsible for delivering personalized treatments tailored to each client’s needs while maintaining a high standard of care and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
• Assess clients’ needs and develop customized treatment plans to address specific concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients before, during, and after sessions.
• Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate wellness practices.
• Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations.
• Foster positive relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication skills.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy and health conditions is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
• Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures and address client questions or concerns.
• Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a caring attitude at all times.
• Prior experience in a therapeutic or wellness setting is a plus but not required.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.
• Must adhere to state licensing laws and regulations
• Must carry liability insurance
• Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, spa management, and staff
• Knowledge of Swedish Massage required
• Knowledge of other various modalities preferred (Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Oncology, Trigger Point, Pre-natal, Craniosacral, Deep Tissue), but not required.
• Understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork
• Strong team player
• Excellent customer service skills and work ethic
• Must be reliable
• Professional manner, discretion, and appearance Instruction

Pay: $40.00-$110.00 per hour
