JOB POSTING: Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa is looking to hire part and full-time Registered Massage Therapists for their busy spas in Calgary and Edmonton, AB. Hand & Stone is a dynamic, modern and therapeutic clinic that offers guaranteed clientele, steady pay and flexible scheduling.
Candidates should be patient, understanding and capable of listening to a client describe what they are feeling. They must also demonstrate critical thinking skills and excellent collaborative skills. Must be able to chart, monitor and offer advice to aid clients in caring for their injuries at home.
Both recent graduates and experienced therapists welcome – experience of course an asset, hot stone and cupping, additional modalities a benefit. Qualifications:
- Graduate diploma in massage therapy
- Current license or registration with application association(s)
- Proof of Professional Liability Insurance
- Self-motivated and self-driven
Responsibilities:
- Offer an educated, experienced, and effective assessment along with massage therapy treatment.
- Recommend treatment plans, along with offering home care suggestions.
- Maintain professional standards in client record keeping.
- Adhere to the regulatory and/or provincial body’s set of ethics and standards at all times.
