Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy is required.
• Proficiency in medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients and healthcare professionals.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on building rapport and trust with clients.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly explain treatment options and address client concerns.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Duties:

• Perform a range of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massages.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ physical conditions and health histories to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment details and progress notes.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before and after treatments.
• Collaborate with other wellness professionals to provide holistic care for clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in massage therapy.
