MaKami College is excited to host the NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) Clinic on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Held at MaKami’s Calgary campus and hosted by MaKami’s Personal Trainer Program Instructor, Jeff Aker, the college will welcome students and fitness professionals from across Alberta for a full day of continuing education focused on health, strength and performance.

“We’re excited to welcome the NSCA Alberta Clinic to MaKami College,” said Noel Fitzgibbon, Department Head of the Personal Trainer Certificate program. “This clinic offers an excellent opportunity for personal trainers, coaches, students, and athletes to expand their knowledge across a wide range of topics relevant to their profession.”
Fitzgibbon will also give a talk on “Applied Hip Biomechanics in High Demand Strength Movements: Managing Pain, Performance and Imperfect Movement”.
