MaKami Calgary Campus Opens New Computer Lab

MaKami College is excited to celebrate the opening of its new computer lab in its Calgary, Alberta campus.

MaKami College is excited to announce the opening of its first Computer Lab in its Calgary campus. 

The state-of-the-art lab will hold up to 40 students, providing them a quiet place to learn, print documents, rent a laptop or get one-on-one assistance from the dedicated Student Technology Navigator who will be available during opening hours.

The space will also hold regular workshops for digital literacy skills, business skills, resume and cover letter writing, Moodle assistance, exams including high school provincial exam testing, admissions testing and more. 

In addition, the lab will leverage technologies to help persons with disabilities. 

“We are very excited to provide this tier one support to our students onsite as another way to help remove barriers to their success while at school and getting employed,” says Marija Pavkovic-Tovissi, CEO & President of MaKami College. 

The Computer Lab opened in Calgary on April 1, with plans to open one in the Edmonton campus in spring 2026.

The lab hours are: 

Monday – Thursday: 11AM – 7PM

Friday & Saturday: 9AM – 5PM
