Calgary Clinic Hiring PT Massage Therapist

JOB POSTING: Precision Spinal Care, a clinic located in Calgary, Alberta, is hiring a part-time registered massage therapist to join their busy wellness practice. In the office, they also offer Class IV Laser Therapy, Acupuncture, and Manual Osteopathic Therapy.

Our established wellness-focused practice boasts amazing clients with in-house
referrals. Our clinic is conveniently located in Calgary SW within the community of Silverado. We are surrounded by several new communities, including Belmont, Yorkville, Sirocco, Pine Creek, Creekstone, and Silverton.

The ideal therapist will have at least 2200 hours of training and will have experienc with therapeutic massage, deep tissue massage, pregnancy massage, myofascial release, and sports injury. Certification in lymphatic drainage, reflexology, hot stone, and/or cupping would be an asset.

In our office, we work with a lot of patients that have specific ailments such as TMJ, headaches, sciatica, neck pain, low back pain, concussion, whiplash, and other injuries from motor vehicle accidents. The applicant will have the ability to work with our multidisciplinary health care team for collaboration. Interest in natural healthcare is a must. Looking for a therapist that cares for the wellbeing of their patients, that will provide stretches, exercises, and that will give recommendations for follow-up care.

Responsibilities:

• Registered and in good standing with an Alberta massage therapy association.
• Calgary business license.
• Proof of liability insurance.
• Availability Monday-evening, Tuesday- morning, Thursday- evening, and Saturday- morning. 
• Ability to maintain electronic soap notes daily.
• Handle patients’ personal information with discretion.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Ability to reliably commute to T2X 0T9.
