JOB POSTING: HALO Clinic is looking to hire a part or full-time Registered Massage Therapist for their vibrant and family-friendly Chiropractic and Massage Therapy Clinic located in Rutland Park in Calgary – just a stone’s throw from Mount Royal University. Located at #28 – 4604 37 Street SW, HALO Clinic is open from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm. Saturdays by appointment only. As an Independent Contractor, HALO Clinic is looking for a mature, charismatic and friendly individual who wants to grow both personally and professionally. This job opportunity is open to students, RMTs and MaKami College massage therapy graduates of the 2nd year, 3000 hour program in Calgary or Edmonton. To find out more please visit www.haloclinic.ca
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand patient symptoms and medical history
- High quality massage to improve circulation, promote relaxation, relieve stress, pain and injuries for patients with a variety of conditions
- Communicate with other practitioners in the clinic to provide outstanding treatment to patients
- Refer patients to other practitioners when needed to treat additional symptoms
- Develop a personalized treatment plan with specific treatment areas and frequency
- Maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications:
- 2200 hours Massage Therapy Diploma from an accredited program
- Registered and in good standing with their governing association
- Proof of registration and insurance
- Previous experience in massage is preferred however will consider recent graduates
- The ability to use various modalities (ex. cupping, hot stones, aromatherapy)
- The ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as Chiropractors, Physicians and Physiotherapists to assist with treatments
- Experience with practice building an asset
