MaKami College CEO Awarded Calgary’s White Hat Award

MaKami College’s CEO Marija Pavkovic-Tovissi, CEO was the recipient of Calgary’s prestigious White Hat Award in 2014 by Major Naheed Nenshi. 

The Mayor’s White Hat Award honours an individual who has created a legacy or positive recognition program or event that has enhanced or promoted Calgary either locally, nationally or internationally. 

“It is such an honour to receive this award,” says Pavkovic-Tovissi. “Myself and my family have been dedicated to creating a legacy of changing the face of education by helping people with physical, mental and socio-economical barriers achieve their educational dreams. It feels great to be recognized for all our efforts.”
