The end of the year is coming soon – a time when everyone gets ready to celebrate the holidays with their loved ones. Unfortunately, for people facing financial hardship and the cost of groceries going up, this time of year can be particularly difficult for students who are unable to afford food for their families.
MaKami wants to help make sure no student who needs food goes without. That’s why we are asking anyone who is able to donate non-perishable food, or cash or gift card donations to the food pantry between now and December 18.
To donate, bring in your items to the SAS office in your campus. See below for some great examples of non-perishable food donations, especially for the upcoming holidays.
Please note: If you are a student in need, we encourage you to contact SAS or stop by the SAS office in your campus. Please note quantities could be limited.
