Eye on Alumni: Krista Gagne, business owner

When Krista Gagne decided to take Makami College’s second year program last year she had planned on working in more clinical settings.

“That’s not really how it turned out when I graduated,” says Krista, who currently serves over 120 clients in her own mobile business.

“I love it,” she says. “I get to make my own hours and I actually use a lot more of the skills I learned in my second year than my first.”

Gagne credits Makami College’s instruction and atmosphere for helping her succeed in her massage therapy career. “There were a lot of things I thought I’d never learn,” she says. “But with their guidance I ended up getting really great marks and I truly enjoy what I’m doing now.”
