The Medical Office Assistant Diploma Program is designed to be completed in 10 months, or 900 hours. That means you could be working in a medical administration job in under a year!
MaKami’s 10-month blended program is offered in a case study format, which means from the moment you enroll, you will be placed as a medical assistant within a mock healthcare setting. What Are the Admissions Requirements to be eligible for the Medical Office Assistant Program?

As English is the language of instruction in all programs at MaKami College, we require all applicants to demonstrate communicative proficiency in the English language prior to admission acceptance. For the Medical Office Assistant Program, this could include one of the following:
Completion of previous education with either a High School or Post-Secondary Diploma in an institution where English is the primary language of instruction and communication
Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) Literacy Placement Test with a score of 6 or equivalent in each of the four competencies: reading/writing/listening/speaking
Completion of English 20-1 or equivalent with at least 60%, or English 20-2 or equivalent with at least a 65% passing grade. If the credentials are from outside Canada, the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) will be used to assess the equivalencies of the courses submitted.
