About the Massage Therapy Program
Our two-year massage therapy program offers the highest level of massage therapy training in Alberta, including plenty of hands-on training with potential clientele as well as practicum placements where you can practice your new skills. MaKami massage therapy graduates enter the field with the knowledge and expertise to confidently pursue their professional massage therapy career.
Learn to apply the principles of physical, health sciences, and social sciences as they relate to massage therapy in the classroom, simulated clinical environments, and through clinical placements in the community or in our on-campus clinics. The advanced massage therapy certification allows graduates the ability to provide health insurance claim receipts upon graduation and licensing.
Receive Additional Certifications
In addition to a variety of transferrable skills such as anatomy and physiology, business and employment preparation and more, you’ll also earn a certification in First Aid during in-person training.

What are the Application Requirements for an International Student?
You need to be 17 years of age or older, have the relevant study permit, academic transcripts to be translated into English and authenticated by MaKami College Inc. and can demonstrate a competent level of English.
How Do I Cancel My Application?
Requests for withdrawals and refunds must be in writing. Please refer to Alberta Student Enrollment Contracts attached in your orientation package for detailed information and cost calculation on refunds.
