JOB POSTING: The Rimrock Resort Hotel is looking to hire a part-time contract Registered Massage Therapist for their busy multidisciplinary spa. This is a part-time position working Friday, Saturday and Sunday for 6 months (contract), with possible extension. Looking for graduates with 2200 registered hours, who belong to a recognized Alberta association and have 2 years of customer service / retail experience. Staff accommodation may be available for this position.

Skills & Attributes

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Graduated from a recognized massage therapy college
• Registered with a recognized Alberta association
• 2200 hrs program required
• Fluency in 2^nd language an asset
• Previous experience as licensed massage therapist
• Ability to work in a team environment and multi-task
• Comfortable performing all massage therapy treatments
• Emotional maturity and ability to work independently

Duties & Responsibilities

• Arrive 15 minutes prior to first appointment
• Create a comfortable and relaxing experience for guests through customized treatment
• Guest is picked up from waiting area at exact time (or earlier) of scheduled appointment
• Perform massages (Relaxation, Aromatherapy, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy & Hot Stone, Body)
• Maintain cleanliness of workspace 
• Re-stock treatment rooms and assist with inventory
• Be properly attired in business attire with clearly visible name tag
• Ensure each client receives refreshments as needed
• Anticipate guests needs and be sensitive to manner of guest

Physical Demands

• Lifting 20lbs maximum
• Frequent lifting and / or carrying up to 10lbs
• Requires significant standing and walking
• May involve sitting with pushing and pulling of arms & legs controls
